Description
Man was this one a challenge. It was an interesting process developing something so different from what I am traditionally used to when working in fruity or floral accords. A vegetal, melon, green, earthy. Typically associated with pumpkin pie. This can be a very diverse note spanning from earthy to gourmand. Finding a balance between realism and fantasy is where the challenge begins. This accord was developed through research and guidance through GC/MS. While it is an extensive formula, each part plays a crucial role as it is quite a task to create realism in perfumery. Nature is a complex and fascinating world when looking at it through chemistry. The addition of Spinach and Artichoke absolute brings that realistic touch even further. While it can be hard to come by them, it can be left out without an issue. Porcini Mushroom absolute gives the accord a savory feel. But only a small amount is needed.
This accord utilizes materials not commonly seen and is a great exercise to try something different.
