Oud Assafi®

Fraterworks: East truly does meet west in this most famous of all wild harvested oud oils. oud assafi is the result of a collaboration of bangladeshi master distillers jalali agarwood and swiss fragrance giant firmenich.
Oud assafi is intensely animalic and woody with a sweet undertone. it is perceptible in traces (which is fortunate given its high price).
For a surprising good (and very cost-effective) extender to this treasured essential oil, blend it with a generous amount of laine de mouton absolute. the two are extremely synergistic and the combination allows a perfumer to mimic the effect of an oud assafi overdose.
Owing to the intensity of this pure oil and the extremely high price, we are also offering it diluted to 1%, 5% and 10% in natural triethyl citrate, a marvellous odourless diluent produced from citrus.
