Let’s talk about a legend from the vault… Café Oud!
This was one of the very first coffee fragrances in our history — and oh, what a ride it was! Coffee has always fascinated me: the warmth, the richness, that deep, roasted magic. But back then, I hadn’t found a fragrance that truly captured its soul… so I set out to create one myself.
Enter Café Oud and Café Fiesta — the dynamic duo that sparked something amazing.
But I didn’t just want “coffee in a bottle.” I wanted an experience — something people could feel and connect with, something vibrant, rich, and just a little bit daring.
The journey wasn’t smooth — trust me. Natural coffee extracts were tricky, often refusing to dissolve in alcohol. I fumbled through tinctures, made a mess or two, and finally struck gold with a full-bodied CO₂ extract!.
Cinnamon and cardamom? Obvious heroes — they practically begged to jump in.
Jasmine and rose? Oh yes — they dance beautifully with just about anything.
Cambodian oud? Dark, resinous, mesmerizing
But here’s where it got fun: I wanted something unexpected. Something that would surprise and delight. Enter… bitter orange. Sharp, zesty, and the perfect playful twist to cut through the richness.
And then — wait for it — butter CO₂ extract. Yes, real butter! It’s the magic ingredient people raise an eyebrow at… but oh, the depth and creamy fullness it brings. This little discovery became my secret weapon in coffee creations ever since.
Though Café Oud has been long discontinued, it will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s a piece of our story — bold, experimental, and unforgettable.
