Hazelnut Accord

This hazelnut accord is a unique, gourmand fragrance. It blends sweet, creamy hazelnut with a hint of roasted coffee and chocolate. The inclusion of pyrazines provides a warm, nutty depth, balanced by the smooth and floral facets of Hedione, Heliotropin, and vanillin.

Honeyed Rose Accord

This rosey accord offers a unique "honeyed" sweetness with a touch of balsamic spice. Elemi adds a lemony lift and body, while the subtle inclusion of rose absolute provides realism and depth. It's a playful exploration of natural floral absolutes and lesser-known materials.

Honeysuckle Base

This honeysuckle accord is a versatile base that can be customized to create various olfactory experiences. It blends floral, powdery, honey, citrus, and jasmine-like nuances, allowing perfumers to focus on specific characteristics or create unique compositions by adding jasmine, citrus, or animalic elements.

Horchata Accord

Kiwi Accord

Lychee Accord

A unique lychee accord that captures the fleshy and juicy aspects of the fruit while avoiding overly sweet notes, offering a balanced and nuanced gourmand experience.

Matcha Green Tea Accord

This Matcha Green Tea accord boasts a fresh, bright green tea aroma with a unique musky powder undertone. The inclusion of Mate Absolute provides depth and realism, making this accord perfect for citrus and musky summer fragrances, as well as more complex compositions.

Coquito Accord

Coquito. A traditional Puerto Rican beverage consumed during Christmas. It’s like a coconut eggnog. Coquito translates to “Little Coconut” and is usually made with a heavy pour of rum. This very creamy and sweet delight was an interesting accord to create as you don’t typically see creamy and boozy together in many compositions. The balance of those aspects really was a bit of a challenge as many of the materials were fighting for front stage. The citrus adds lift and dimension to prevent it from being just a dense sweet amalgamation of coconut and vanilla. The spice adds another layer of depth and brings this accord to life. I remember my first time tasting this beverage and almost falling out of my seat from how strong it was 😅 so this is reflected in this particular formula.

Mezcal Accord

This unique fragrance captures the essence of mezcal, with its distinctive smoky, spicy, and earthy notes. Its versatility allows for both bright, light interpretations or deeper, richer compositions with added woodsy facets.

Acai Accord

Açaí Berry Accord offers a unique and tart berry experience, distinct from traditional blueberries and blackberries. Its bitterness and lack of sweetness make it a versatile ingredient for creating complex and interesting fragrance compositions.

Aperol Spritz Accord

This accord offers a refreshing, cooling interpretation of a classic orange and bitter liqueur combination. It combines herbal notes, rhubarb, and a touch of menthol for a unique, boozy scent that evokes a cool, summery Italian ambiance.

Narcotic Floral Accord

White florals have seemingly dominated the perfume industry over the last century with over 83% of fragrances include a jasmine or “Jasmine Like” note. What is it about white florals in general that have such a “Narcotic” affect on our brains (and noses)?

Paper Accord

This accord captures the essence of paper, encompassing its various facets from fresh new pages to the dusty and aged scent of old books. It evokes a sense of nostalgia and history, with a hint of leather and a touch of dampness.

Pistachio Base

Plum Accord

Pomegranate Accord

This pomegranate fragrance captures the juicy, succulent essence of the fruit, offering a mouthwatering and realistic scent experience. The fragrance is ideal for those who appreciate natural, realistic interpretations of fruit accords.

Pumpkin Accord

This scent is unique because it reimagines the typical pumpkin pie accord by incorporating unusual ingredients like spinach, artichoke, and porcini mushroom. It achieves a realistic and savory aroma, balancing earthy and gourmand notes.

Raspberry Accord

A sweet, juicy raspberry accord with a touch of tartness. This formula leans towards the overripe side, but the ethyl maltol can be omitted for a more balanced fruity experience.

Root Beer Float Accord

This fragrance is a unique take on the classic root beer float, combining the earthy, licorice-like notes of root beer with the sweet, creamy vanilla of a float. It balances the fizziness of citrus and spice with the creamy vanilla, creating a fragrance that is both refreshing and comforting.

Pineapple Accord

I decided I wanted to remake a pineapple accord. I usually create the accord within the formula it is being utilized in. This lends the pineapple to be unique in each fragrance. But I decided I wanted to make it separately. This is a much more sophisticated pineapple and very realistic. Not too sweet and not too “synthetic”. It is a bit sharper and green like biting into a freshly cut pineapple. There is trace amounts of a few naturals that add some interesting aspects to the accord. Creating a pineapple accord is very simple with Allyl Caproate, Allyl amyl glycolate, and some ethyl Maltol. But simple isn’t what I typically do😅 What other accords would you like to see?

Jasmine Accord

Jasmine. Honestly, it would come between Jasmine and rose as which is my favorite note. Jasmine can be so narcotic and intoxicating. Rose is very comforting and nostalgic. As with many natural absolutes and extracts in the world, Jasmine is just as wide and varied as any other. The main ones you see used in perfumery are either Sambac or Grandiflorum. To my nose, Sambac is a much deeper and more intricate Jasmine while Grandiflorum is a softer and more “floral” Jasmine. Sadly, in mainstream modern perfumery it is rarely seen and is always an accord compared to the natural counterpart. And if it is used, it’s used in such a minute quantity it probably wouldn’t even be noticeable.

Banana Accord

This is a unique banana fragrance inspired by the nuances of natural banana fruit. The scent combines powdery, vanilla, tropical, and green notes with a hint of sulfur, offering a complex and multifaceted olfactory experience.

Rum Accord

This scent is a unique rum-based perfume, characterized by its sweet and fruity notes with hints of raisins and dates. The sweetness comes from the use of molasses, while the smooth, spicy and earthy notes are achieved with vanilla absolute, balsam of Peru, bay leaf, patchouli and clove.

Muguet (Lily of the Valley) Accord

Muguet. Lily of the Valley. Convallaria Majalis. One of the most beloved and well known of perfumery “Notes”. This floral aroma exudes many characteristics that range from Green and white floral, to delicate and rosey. Sadly, the natural flowers can not be used to make an absolute or essential oil. So it must be recreated through an accord.

Fressia Accord

Freesia. A flowering perennial of the Iridaceae genus. Originally from South Africa to Kenya. Named by German Botanist and Medical Practitioner named Friedrich Freese.

Amber Accord

Champagne Accord

Champagne. Been really into boozy aromas lately. They are all quite interesting in terms of perfumery. But when I was creating this accord, I imagined happiness, celebration, parties, suit and tie, wedding reception. This is a very uplifting and playful accord. Champagne is pretty much solely associated with celebration and praise. It sparkles, its alcohol (so it makes you feel good ☺️), its bright and refreshing. But when you break it down aromatically. It is Effervescent, citrusy, floral, fruity, almondy. It is quite complex. It also has a dry quality to it.

Soy Sauce Accord

A unique gourmand fragrance that captures the unexpected aroma of soy sauce, with notes of caramel, saltiness, and umami. It's a bold and innovative scent that pushes the boundaries of traditional perfumery.

Lilac Accord

Lilac. Botanically known as “Syringa Vulgaris”.

Stawberry Banana Milkshake Accord

This gourmand fragrance captures the essence of a creamy strawberry banana milkshake, delivering a playful and nostalgic scent.

Tobacco Accord

A rich and complex tobacco accord featuring animalic, woody, spicy, powdery, herbaceous, and rich notes, capturing the essence of cigar tobacco with a blend of natural ingredients.

Vanilla Accord

Wild Strawberry Base

It avoids the overly sweet, candy-like tones common in strawberry fragrances and emphasizes the natural, slightly tart aspects of the wild strawberry. The formula is flexible and can be adjusted based on preference.
